What is WASH?

W.A.S.H. (Workshop in Art Studio and History) is an intro art program held at Sam Houston State University. Taught by Bill Davenport and Kathryn Kelley, it is the first step on the path to earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts at SHSU.

Dots Expanded

Earlier in the semester students were given a design project involving dots and squares. After extensive thumbnailing each student ended up with 4 complete pieces.


Now they've been broken up into groups of 6. Within the group each student picked the best 2 of their designs and have started translating them into a photograic series.



It's awesome to see so many different solutions to the same problem.



Haha this was just an excuse to see the 2nd floor! I know what you're up to!
